Can you believe it?...Happily married all these years! People ask me all the time, "How do you do it?" Would you like the answer to this question? Sharing my marital secrets is what inspired me to create this blog. It was designed with you in mind.

Are you already reading excerpts from my book, Abby's Between Girlfriends: A Sharing of Marital Secrets? If not, you can find consecutive posts right here throughout the blog. By the time I finish posting the excerpts, you will have read my whole book! This is my way of giving back.

I post new excerpts along the way. You can find Excerpt #1 in the Blog Archive located on the sidebar (click the down arrow for May 2009, and click the A Sharing of Marital Secrets- Excerpt #1 link).

As always, I appreciate you telling your friends I'm here. Tell them, "She loves comments, so please leave one." Thanks.

Saturday's Blessings Report

You know how good things happen and you just want to tell somebody, and give thanks? Well, I'm providing a place for me, and for you, to do just that. A place to say, "Thank you for my blessing!" Prayer requests have their place, and so should saying, "Thank you" when your requests have been granted. So, each Saturday I will re-post Saturday's Blessings Report for us. It doesn't matter how large or small the blessing, just take a moment to say, "I thank you". This is our place. Our space.

Now, you don't have to wait until Saturday to post a "Thank you". Anytime the feeling hits you, you can find this post and report your blessing.

You can post a "Thank you" comment as many times as you like!

Let's share our blessings. We are all in this together, and we don't know when our words may help others get through a "rough patch" in their life. Let's let The Blessings Flow....

During my meditation time this morning, I was struck with how thankful I am my daughter and son chose me as their vessel to come into this life. They have blessed my life as their mother. I am not saying it has always been easy, but it has been worth the effort. So, I am stopping today to say, "Thank you, God for blessing me with my daughter and my son." Amen.

This week I've been thinking about how blessed we are in our lives after seeing the struggles 2 very dear friends are going through because of finances. Its like God shows us situations like these to make us wake up and see how much He has blessed us and honestly today if I count the blessings I can honestly say with all my heart-our cup does runover!Praise God!!

Happy SITS Sharefest

I am so thankful for my husband and how he does his very best to provide for me. He just returned from having a full set of tires replaced on my car! If I were single, that is something I would have had to do for myself, by myself. God, I ask that you continue to bless my husband with the desires of his heart. I thank You in advance. Amen.

First thing this a.m. when I went outside, I noticed the passenger window of my vehicle was down an inch or so....was immediately thankful that it hadn't rained through the night.
I know that's so simple...but I'm thankful.

I feel so blessed to have such good friends! Not only are they good listeners, fun to be around, and good solid people, but they're the type of friends who pick up the phone sometimes "just because". It's not because they need something or have any sort of official business. It's the kind of call where maybe they saw something that made them think of you, or they haven't seen you in a few days and missed the sound of your voice. Getting a "just because" call from a friend makes me feel very blessed! Jenn @ rookno17.blogspot.com

Hi!
Found you today through Sits (this may be an old post, didn't even look, but...so thankful for God's blessings of sisters, not the blood kind, but sisters nonetheless. After a long winter-turned-into-cabin-fever, God has blessed me this week with "connecting" all week with different friends who gave me encouragement, support, time for both of us to share our hearts and struggles, joys and praise, and it was wonderful. Thank you, Lord!
Blessings to you, Robbie!
